Reflections on Loss

I’m no stranger to loss.
How it rips away what is precious and leaves you
empty handed, scared, and isolated.
It’s curious how no one ever
talks about what they gain
from loss:

Hope
for a clear and beautiful tomorrow

Opportunity
to heal, grow, and nurture the Self and those important to you

Reflection
on strength, inner needs, and next steps

Loss, if you allow it,
defines character,
refines how you approach experiences, and
offers the not-so-gentle reminder to
cherish what you know you’ll
one day lose.

May the feeling of loss be great,
for it points to the once familiar feeling of
abundance.
May you accept all the seasons,
feast / famine
and know that through it all you are
loved
and treasured
beyond conceivable measure.
