And You Will Know Me
I wonder what he would say
standing at the intersection of the Cosmos and
St. Anthony
Would he wave his hand and decree
“Lost but found and
This
is all for you
by You
Which is to say
me and
We.”
Would he smirk
bees on the knees
and Light my shoes aflame
releasing the Lion to
Electrify (the) Vision?
Would he,
along the scenic path,
extend his hand to twirl me
a spiral
to begin again and
again?
It was printed in blue
nestled betwixt the
leaves;
details and
empty space—brilliant,
a silent, deafening
Becoming and
deafening,
a subtle Destruction
Vibrating and humming
The lines floated off the page and
webbed themselves in front of me.
Knot here and
knot there, the strings
tied to a (story)line yet to be
woven
I’ll meet you
tHERE
and you will know Me.
